The Beatles, Bowie and Beyoncé have all played here. Lately, our engineers have been performing at London’s most iconic music venue too. In a major refurbishment, we’ve been working around the clock, while working around the crowded performance schedule.
Situated next to Wembley Stadium, this is an unusual building.* It was originally a swimming pool, designed by an engineer rather than an architect. And it shows. Constructed in reinforced concrete, it had the world’s widest concrete arches at the time. Today, the venue’s appeal is even broader – hosting shows from CBeebies to Queen to The X Factor. However, when the building required an intensive upgrade
in 2014, it was essential that ‘the show must go on’. That’s why the venue needed a mechanical and electrical contractor with the full range of resources and expertise. Our end-to-end skills allow us to integrate works into an effective plan with built-in flexible working practices. In brief, we are always ready to rock.
* Developed for the 1934 British Empire Games, it was used as an aquatics centre for the 1948 Olympics.
