Last month, two of our Apprentices attended final awards ceremonies after having already won their regional heats for Apprentice of the Year awards.
Robert Cameron was selected as a finalist at the SECTT (Scottish Electrical Charitable Trust Training Trust) Stage 2 Apprentice of the Year competition. The awards ceremony took place on 9th October at the Original Hotel, outside Edinburgh, where he achieved a silver medal in the competition.
Lewis Fiore (as seen in the image, second from right) was nominated for the finals of the Electrical Industry Awards 2017 in recognition of his commitment to achieving, ‘the highest standards possible.’ The awards ceremony took place on 26th October in London and Lewis was highly commended, receiving a certificate of recognition.
Mark Sullivan, Director of Regions, said: “Congratulations to both Lewis and Robert. Reaching the finals is a fantastic achievement so to come out with a silver medal and a high commendation is a true testament to the hard work and dedication they have both shown throughout their Apprenticeships. I look forward to following their career development with interest and wish both Lewis and Robert every success in their future careers with SSE Enterprise.”
Congratulations to both Robert and Lewis for the hard work and dedication that went into these nominations and for demonstrating to us all that SSE Enterprise has a fantastic pool of Apprentices rising through the ranks.
