SSE Enterprise Telecoms has opened its third Network Operation Centre (NOC) in Berkshire. The network provider’s new facility will underpin its commitment to provide high availability services for its customers and ensure it has the most reliable, high capacity network in the industry.
SSE Enterprise Telecoms has announced the second phase of a project which will add additional capacity to its existing UK-wide fibre network. The network provider has also revealed a 250 per cent increase in Ethernet orders in the last year despite challenging market conditions.

The SSE Enterprise Lighting PFI depot in Nottingham, which is contracted by Nottingham City Council to upgrade and maintain the city’s street lighting infrastructure, has received the Considerate Constructors Scheme Gold Award.
A district heating project designed, built and operated by SSE Enterprise Utilities has registered with Heat Trust – a new customer protection scheme. The Wyndford Estate in Glasgow’s Maryhill area has been registered with Heat Trust, a new scheme which will provide free independent complaint resolution and minimum customer service standards for district heat network customers in Great Britain.
