SSE Enterprise and The Daily Telegraph are campaigning to help businesses manage their bottom line.
Energy efficiency is often overlooked but SSE Enterprise exists to direct medium and large businesses to the most cost-effective ways of reducing carbon footprint and maintaining healthy outgoings.
We brought together retail business leaders in the form of Matt Sexton, director of corporate social responsibility at B&Q and Eamon Fitzgerald, managing director of Naked Wines alongside Kathryn Janda of Oxford University’s Environmental Change Institute and SSE Enterprise’s development director Mike Reynolds to discuss energy management in the retail sector.
The discussion was chaired by Telegraph’s enterprise editor, Rebecca Burn-Callander. Read Rebecca's full report from the retail round table debate.
The round table saw parties sharing tactics on maintaining a reasonable energy bill while considering how the sector can work together for a more efficient future.
